Drone Guardian

When the alarm goes off, the drone is already on its way.

Drone Guardian connects autonomous drones to the security system you already have. When a sensor raises an alarm, a drone launches from its dock and your control room sees live video within seconds.

No pilot on site. A remote pilot approves each flight with one click.

From alarm to a clear picture

Drone Guardian adds a fast check from the air to the alarm process you already have.

  1. Detect

A sensor in your security system raises an alarm. Radar, cameras, fence sensors and access control can all trigger a flight.

  2. Launch

Drone Guardian plans the route. A remote pilot approves the flight and the drone takes off from its dock.

  3. Verify

Live video and telemetry go straight to your control room and VMS. You see what is happening before anyone is sent out.

  4. Return

The drone flies back to its dock and charges, ready for the next alarm.

One system, three ways to fly

Reactive

Your sensors trigger the flight. The drone flies straight to the alarm location and streams live video and telemetry to the control room.

Patrol

Routine patrol flights over your area. Run them on a schedule, at random times, on demand or when a sensor triggers.

Manual

Operators in the control room take the controls to investigate, follow an incident or support guards on the ground.

Built for security, from day one

Drone Guardian was designed for security operations from the start. The system fits how control rooms work, and the licensing fits how security services are sold.

For security companies

Add drones to your service without building a drone operation.

  • Connects to the alarm and video systems you already run. Ready-made Ajax integration.
  • One licence per dock, easy to build into your service contracts.
  • Start flying under Starsview's BVLOS authorisation, or get our help applying for your own.
  • Training and onboarding for your operators.

  • Fewer unnecessary call-outs and a faster response to real incidents.
  • Supports your resilience work under the EU CER Directive.
  • Works with your current security provider and systems.

Questions we often get

Do we need a pilot on site?

No. The drone flies autonomously from its dock. A remote pilot approves each flight and can take over at any time, as aviation rules require.

Do we have to replace our security system?

No. Drone Guardian is an extra layer on top of your existing sensors, alarm system and VMS.

Which drones does it work with?

Drone Guardian is hardware-agnostic. Today it runs with DJI Dock drones. Other drone systems can be connected through their flight software's API.

Where is our data stored?

In the cloud or on your own servers, whichever you prefer. Video is processed under a data processing agreement with you, in line with GDPR.

How is it priced?

One annual licence per dock. Hardware, installation and training are quoted separately.

Can we run the drones ourselves?

Yes. You can start under Starsview's BVLOS authorisation and move to your own when you are ready. We help with the application and the training.
